i want to take you to harrisburg, pennsylvania. governor shapiro and the pennsylvania state police are holding a press conference after a fire overnight at governor josh shapiro's official residence that authorities are investigating as an arson. let's listen in. >> family that was staying with us. and the troopers safely evacuated us from the governor's residence last night. we experienced an attack not just on our family, but on the entire commonwealth of pennsylvania here at the governor's residence. i want to thank the pennsylvania state police for safely evacuating our family for their bravery last evening, and for their careful leadership of this investigation. i want to thank harrisburg fire, their chief, who was personally on the scene and spent time with me and my family last night. he and the other firefighters from harrisburg ran toward danger to help keep us safe and quickly putting out the fire. i want to thank the capitol police for assisting the pennsylvania state police last night and ensuring everything was orderly

technically, he wasn't from pennsylvania. he was actually from ohio.sentially pretty much a, a self-taught artist. around about 1923, or prior to that, he moved to philadelphia, and then in 1923, he moved to center bridge, which was in bucks county. sometimes his group is called the bucks county impressionists, the new hope school, or the pennsylvania impressionists. he is indeed one of those. one of his great mentors was edward redfield. and redfield was one of the leaders of the pennsylvania impressionist school, together with daniel garber. and i think of all the impressionists, nunamaker was perhaps influenced by redfield more than any of the others, and you can see it in his very vigorous brushwork. he would paint en plein air, i.e., he would go outside to paint. so what you see here, he would have been sitting in front of this with his little canvas board. can you tell me a little bit about how you came by it? we were in the upper part of michigan, outside of west branch, michigan, and we stopped at a garage sale and picked it up for two dollars.

and we do begin tonight with breaking news out of pennsylvania. police saying they have a suspect in custody set to face charges of attempted arson and attempted homicide. and the attack on democratic governor josh shapiro's residence overnight. we know shapiro and his family, which includes four children, were woken up by police around 2 a.m. and evacuated after their home there was set on fire. amazingly, no one was injured. shapiro, getting emotional in a press conference that wrapped just a few moments ago, saying this was a targeted attack. >> lori and i are. lori and i are overwhelmed by the prayers. and the messages of support that we've received from all across pennsylvania and all across the united states. but we do know that this attack was targeted. we don't know the person's specific motive yet, but we do know a few truths. first, this type of violence is not okay. >> just hours earlier, governor shapiro had posted this photo because he'd celebrated the first night of passover with his family and others there at the governor's residenc
